2020 Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival
Invitation to Participate
The Wrightwood Arts Center (WAC) and community organizations are excited to announce the 2020 Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival to be held on Saturday, September 19th from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Festival exemplifies the Arts Center’s commitment to make Wrightwood a destination for dynamic engagement with the arts in Southern California and beyond. Be sure to SAVE the DATE!
This one-day, juried event will feature a wide-variety of visual, culinary, literary, musical, textile and performing arts, along with wine tasting presented by four regional wineries. Some highlights include:
• Over 50 artist booths selling fine arts, decorative and functional art
• Community Arts organizations offering demonstrations and information
• A variety of music performances featuring classical, jazz & blues
• Wine Tasting
• Adult art activities (e.g., a wine & watercolor class)
• Sponsorship opportunities
• Gourmet Food trucks
Shout Out for Artists
The Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival planning committee is reaching out to local artists from Southern California to invite participation in this exciting event. The Festival will be widely marketed throughout Southern California to highlight the growing and vibrant arts scene in Wrightwood.
Participating Artists will be provided with a 10’x10’ canopy, one 6’ table, two folding chairs, and 50+ promotional postcards to send to their constituents. Booth fees range from $125 – $200. Artists will keep 100% of their sales transactions!

The Wrightwood Arts Center (WAC) goal is to provide a platform for the coordination, collaboration, and promotion of The Arts in Wrightwood —and beyond! This private meeting is for the Community Council Members only. It is not open to the public. Our annual Membership Meeting, which is open to the public, is April 13, 2020.
Meet & Greet: Janet Thornhill

Janet Thornhill will be the featured artist and is inviting you to share her love of photography. Janet worked at Chaffey Joint Union High School District and California Teachers Association and currently serves as Secretary for the WAC. She’s been a Wrightwood resident for over 20 years. Refreshments will be served and her photographs will be on display. Bring a friend!

Lyn Lifshin passed away on December 9, 2019. Lyn was one of the most prolific poets in history, and had written over 130 books and chapbooks and edited four anthologies of women writers. Her poems have appeared in most poetry and literary magazines. (website)
