Wild Integration: a Ceramic Art Installation by Mary Duman

Wild Integration represents the integration of art, science, and nature. It was inspired by cycles of life, including the cycles of energy through an ecosystem, the carbon cycles, the seasons, and our cycles as individuals and communities. Some underlying themes include interconnection, communities, natural intelligence, consciousness, climate change, and relationships. This show also represents a community collaboration between the Wrightwood Arts Center, Arts Connection, The Arts Council of San Bernardino County, fifth grade students from Wrightwood Elementary School, Jamie Powell from Drawing Together, environmental biologist, Konshau Duman, and ceramic artist, Mary Duman.
