Music Comes to This Year’s Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival

The Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival is fast approaching, and this year there’s an exciting new addition to the lineup of art, wine, poetry and food: Music! Four musical acts will be joining the mix, offering visitors hours of musical enjoyment. From folk to jazz, there’s sure to be something to tickle your ears.

Featured act Gina Graham is a soul singer best known for fronting the group Infinite Soul. A favorite in and around Riverside, CA, she boasts a dynamic stage presence and an unforgettable voice. Graham has been an opening act for legendary artists such as 5th Dimensions, Tower of Power, Leon Russell and the Lettermen. She pays tribute to classic American music.

Kiki’s Ebsen’s Joni Mitchell Project features creative and skillful arrangements of Joni’s extraordinary catalog. The group pays tribute to the singer by honoring her musical essence while at the same time infusing each song with their own unique flavor. Their set includes the “Rolling Stone top ten” essential songs of Joni Mitchell as well as the deeper tracks. From the early years of “River and “Chelsea Morning” to high energy band tunes like “Raised on Robbery” and “Woodstock,” the band—comprised of Kiki Ebsen, Grant Geissman, Terry Wollman, and Dave Marotta—covers it all.

Also on the roster is the Serrano Jazz Ensemble, a full jazz ensemble showcasing talented young musicians from the local award-winning Serrano High School music department, and the Peter, Paul, and Mary Project, a vocal trio with acoustic guitar and string bass, which has been playing together for 20 years and is influenced by Peter, Paul, and Mary; Simon and Garfunkel; Crosby, Still, and Nash; and other folk and folk rock singer-songwriters.

While the main portion of the festival is free to attend, tickets to the music stage are $15 per person, and you can pre-order them here. Wristbands will allow for exit and re-entry—enjoy both the music and the art at your leisure.

The Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival draws thousands of visitors each year to a scenic mountain setting, where its array of regional art, food, poetry, and wine keep visitors returning year after year. 2023’s addition of the best musical talent the area has to offer is sure to make the experience even more memorable.
