Due to the record snowstorm and more flexibility in tent rentals than we anticipated, we’re extending the deadline for artist applications by two weeks. We’re now accepting applications for the second annual Wrightwood Arts & Wine Festival until March 15th! The fact is, we’ll probably still be digging out until then.
The Festival, held on Saturday, May 20th, is a one-day, juried event featuring a wide variety of visual, culinary, literary, musical, textile, and performing arts, along with wine-tasting presented by regional wineries, and capped off with a poetry slam in the evening. Apply to be an exhibiting artist at the link below. Last year, over 30 artists participated—and all of them spoke glowingly of the festival in our post-event survey, citing excellent sales and the beautiful atmosphere as their favorite aspects of the day.
We will be expanding, and hope to feature even more regional artists for 2023. Artist applications are online this year and managed by our co-host, Rattle magazine. A small application fee covers the cost of the jurying process, with any additional proceeds going toward festival publicity. For those accepted, a separate booth fee will range from $100 – $250, not including rental of pop-up, chairs and table. Artists may bring their own 10′ x 10′ white pop-up, tables and chairs, or arrange for WAC to rent this for them at a separate cost. View the application for more information.
In addition to booths for artists, the Rattle is sponsoring a shared literary booth for authors and a slam workshop for poets looking to compete in the evening slam. Apply for either of those below, if interested.

We are also accepting applications to be featured in a 30-minute micro-reading/signing at our author booth. Twelve poets will be invited to attend the free workshop with Joaquin Zihuatanejo and compete in the slam. Click here to apply!
