John Frame: Mephistopheles and the Swan Girl

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, WAC members visited the Claremont Museum of Art for a private tour of John Frame: Mephistopheles and the Swan Girl with an artist Q & A following. John Frame is a sculptor, photographer, composer and filmmaker who has been working as an artist since the early 1980s. He has participated in group exhibitions around the world and has had major solo exhibitions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Long Beach Museum of Art, and the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. John Frame and his wife Laura are long-time residents of Wrightwood. The WAC tour offered a unique opportunity to talk with one of Wrightwood’s most well-known artists!
