The Wrightwood Literary Festival seeks to foster participation in the arts in and around Wrightwood, and to share the beauty of the San Gabriel Mountains with the broader arts community. Staffed by local artists and volunteers, we offer literary readings, workshops, and forums for all ages, set high among the big pines, providing inspiration and a day to create, tell our stories, and experience nature that will have a lasting impact year-round.

Our vision is a mountain full of art and artists.

In addition to local artists, the fourth annual Wrightwood Literary Festival, September 29th and 30th, featured workshops and readings by new guest faculty, including Nicelle DavisAlejandro Escudé, and Yi Shun Lai. The festival also featured two separate nature walks, one of them a return of Deborah P Kolodji’s haiku hike, and a keynote address by award-winning Young Adult author and poet Ron Koertge.
